8:00 am: Registration and breakfast, vendor tables open

8:45 am: Melissa Hsu, MS, CGC - Opening remarks by current IGSP president

9:00 am: Gabe Lazarin, MS, CGC - Non-invasive prenatal screening for monogenic disorders

10:00 am: Katie Watson, JD - Abortion politics, ethics, and the law

11:00 am: Refreshment break and opportunity to visit vendor tables

11:30 am: Keynote presentation by Shane Burcaw, author of ‘Laughing at my Nightmare’ - Living with a chronic genetic disorder

12:30 pm: Lunch break with opportunity to visit vendor tables

1:30 pm: Matt Charles – Updates on new disorders added to IL NBS (Krabbe disease, adrenoleukodystrophy and SMA)

2:30 pm: Brian Helfand, MD – Polygenic risk scores and current applications in the clinical setting

3:30 pm: Meeting wrap up to include raffle prizes for those who have visited all the vendor tables

If you need to drive, parking passes are available for purchase. Parking passes must be purchased by Friday, February 21st. Parking passes will not be available for purchase after this date.  Pre-purchased passes will be available for pick up at registration. The parking ramp is located at 222 E. Huron St. Chicago, IL 60611.
